You don’t have a faith problem. You have a structure problem.

Every problem a person carries lives somewhere. The anxiety prayer doesn’t touch, the guilt that survives forgiveness, the deadness that sits underneath correct belief — these are not abstractions. This is spiritual loss, and it has a location: grace kept out of the very flesh it was meant to give life to, held there by the breath you learned to restrict, the tension that became your posture, the nervous system that organized itself around fear before you could speak.

And none of it was chosen. What Scripture calls being confined under sin — in Adam, subject to death — was never only a verdict on the soul. It is a condition of the body: disconnection from the life of God hardening into unconscious attitude, muscular defense, structures of character. An invisible prison, formed by conformity to a world you did not consciously choose — binding the spirit, narrowing freedom, hiding the person Christ has already made you.

This is why insight has never changed you for long. Sermons, books, even years of sincere devotion reach your mind. But intellectual agreement with the word is not what changes you. The heart is the life of the body. And unless revelation of the Living Word reaches you there at the physical level of your being, no true and lasting change in the personality has taken place.

The gospel has already made provision for this. In Christ you are a new creation. According to Scripture, you no longer have a sin nature — the mystical union you have with Christ changed you at the core of who you are. Death to self is not a lifelong process. It was a single transaction, finished at the cross two thousand years ago.

What remains of Adam is a body that will die.
You will not.

Which leaves you responsible for something better than fighting yourself: living the life you have already been given. Genius of the Body does not add anything to you. It shows you what is already true in you — teaching you to know your identity in Christ through a living relationship with your own body, its feeling, its energy, its aliveness, until the union you have with Him is something your whole being can feel.
